At Claremont Dental Rooms we provide a range of in-house oral surgery, such as extractions, implants, and the supporting procedures that go alongside implant placement, such as gum surgery and bone grafting. Every case is planned with on-site 3D imaging so we can see exactly what we're working with before any treatment begins.

Clear aligners are a discreet way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, transparent trays that gently guide teeth into better positions over time. Each case at Claremont Dental Rooms is planned with a digital intraoral scan, with a 3D preview of the projected result before treatment begins. Aligners are smooth, virtually invisible when worn, and can be removed for eating, brushing and special occasions.
When carefully planned, clear aligners can correct mild to moderate crowding, spacing and bite issues while maintaining a natural appearance throughout treatment. Not every case is suitable for aligners. If braces or a referral to a specialist orthodontist would give a better outcome, we'll explain that openly.

Teeth can be healthy yet still look worn, chipped, uneven or discoloured. Veneers are a way to refine colour, shape and proportion without replacing otherwise sound teeth. At Claremont Dental Rooms we offer both composite veneers, hand-sculpted directly onto the tooth in a single visit, and porcelain veneers, custom-made ceramics bonded to the front surface across two appointments. Both are planned around facial proportions, lip movement and bite function, not just tooth shade.
Composite is more conservative, faster, and more affordable, and works well for minor chips, small reshaping or refining one or two teeth. It's also easier to repair if something chips later, but is more prone to staining and wear over time. Porcelain involves more preparation but offers greater strength, colour stability and longevity, and is usually the better option when multiple teeth need consistent colour and form. We'll talk you through which suits your situation, your timeline and your budget. Where minor reshaping alone would give a good result, we'll tell you that too.

Tooth colour gradually changes due to coffee, tea, wine, ageing and natural enamel thinning. Professional whitening lifts deeper stains from within the tooth rather than covering them, creating a fresher appearance without altering tooth shape. At Claremont Dental Rooms, whitening is planned around shade goals, sensitivity and existing dental work, with custom-fitted trays so the gel sits evenly across the teeth for predictable, controlled improvement.
Patients can choose between in-chair whitening for faster initial change or take-home whitening for gradual control, and the two can be combined for refinement. Existing fillings, crowns and veneers don't whiten, so we'll review these beforehand and explain how the final result will look. The aim isn't an artificial paper-white, but a natural shade that suits your features in everyday lighting.

A severely inflamed or infected tooth nerve can cause lingering sensitivity, pressure when biting or spontaneous pain. Root canal treatment removes the source of infection inside the tooth so the surrounding structure can remain in place rather than being extracted. At Claremont Dental Rooms, treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic and usually feels similar to having a filling, with modern instruments used to clean and disinfect the internal canals carefully.
Once the infection is removed, the tooth is sealed, and in most cases a crown is recommended afterwards to protect it from fracture, particularly for back teeth. Saving a natural tooth helps maintain bite balance, prevents neighbouring teeth from shifting, and avoids the need for replacement options like implants or bridges. A properly treated tooth can continue functioning comfortably for many years.

A crown is a custom-made cover that fits over a tooth weakened by fracture, large fillings, root canal treatment or significant wear. It restores strength and shape while protecting what remains of the natural tooth underneath. A bridge uses crowns on the teeth either side of a gap to support a replacement tooth in between, offering a fixed option for a missing tooth when an implant isn't suitable or preferred. At Claremont Dental Rooms, both are planned with digital scans and made from modern ceramics designed to match the colour, translucency and shape of your natural teeth.
Preparation is kept as conservative as possible, and bite, contact points and gum contour are all considered during planning so the final result feels normal in everyday chewing. We'll talk you through the options honestly, including how a crown compares to a large filling, or how a bridge compares to an implant for replacing a missing tooth, so you can decide what suits your situation. Where a more conservative option would give a comparable outcome, we'll recommend that instead.

Children are welcome at Claremont Dental Rooms from their first tooth through to their teenage years. Regular check-ups, hygiene visits and early guidance on brushing and diet help establish healthy foundations before problems develop.
For cases that benefit from specialist input, such as treatment under general anaesthetic or complex behavioural needs, we work closely with trusted paediatric dental specialists and can arrange a referral when it's the right course of action.
We accept all health insurance companies including BUPA, HCF, HIF, Police Health, Navy Health, Teachers Health, Police Health. We also accept government payments: Department of Veterans Affairs, Child Dental Benefit Scheme and Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme.
